Services and prices.
Three treatments. The price on this page is the price you pay. There are no packages to work out and nothing gets added on at the end.
If reflexology is what you are after, start with the Initial Appointment. Everyone does. Every visit after that is the shorter Follow-Up.
Not sure which suits you? Call 902-350-0423 and ask. It takes two minutes.
- Initial Appointment, 90 minutes, $80. Your first visit.
- Follow-Up Treatment, 60 minutes, $60. Every visit after.
- Massage, 30 minutes, $30. Book on its own, any time.
All prices in Canadian dollars.
Your first visit
Initial Appointment
The first time you come we take ninety minutes rather than sixty. The extra half hour is not extra treatment. It is time to sit down and talk properly before anything starts.
We go through how you have been feeling, anything sore, any injuries or health conditions, and anything you would rather I left alone. Then you get comfortable and the treatment runs the same as any other.
What reflexology actually is
Steady, even pressure applied to points across your feet. You stay dressed the whole time. Only your shoes and socks come off, and you sit back or lie down under a blanket.
What it feels like
Firm but not sharp. Some points feel tender for a second and then ease off, a bit like pressing a knot in your shoulder. Nothing about it should make you brace or hold your breath. If it does, say so and I lighten up right away.
Most people go very quiet after the first few minutes. A lot of people fall asleep. Both are fine.
Who tends to book this
- People who are on their feet all day and feel it by the evening
- People who find it hard to switch off and want an hour with no phone and no talking
- People who like the idea of a treatment but do not want to undress for one
- People who have never had any kind of bodywork and want to start somewhere gentle
Being straight with you
Reflexology is comfort and relaxation care. It is not medical treatment and it does not replace advice from your doctor. What I can honestly promise is a calm ninety minutes and careful attention. Anything beyond that is up to how your body responds.
Every visit after the first
Follow-Up Treatment
An hour, and we go straight into it. I already know your history from the first visit, so there is no long chat at the start unless something has changed.
I will ask how you have been since last time and whether anything new has cropped up. That takes a minute or two. Then shoes and socks off, and the rest of the hour is yours.
How often
As often as it is useful to you and no more. Some people come once a month. Some come when they think of it. Some come once and never again, and that is a completely fine outcome.
I do not sell courses of treatment and I will not ask you to rebook on your way out. If you want another one, you know where I am.
Who tends to book this
- Anyone who has already had an Initial Appointment
- People who found the first one helped and want to keep it going
- People who want a standing hour in the month that belongs to them
Something shorter
Massage
[[NEEDS: what kind of massage this is. Relaxation, deep tissue, chair, table, hands and feet only? This changes the whole description below.]]
Half an hour. It is a good choice if you are sore in one particular spot, or if you want to try something here without booking a full appointment first.
What to expect
We talk for a couple of minutes about where you are sore and anything you would rather I left alone. Then you get comfortable and I work on that area for the rest of the time. Pressure is yours to set. Tell me lighter or firmer at any point.
Who tends to book this
- People with one stubborn sore spot rather than a general ache
- People fitting something into a lunch break
- People who want the shortest, cheapest way to try this out
Practical bits
Before you come.
Nothing here is complicated, but it saves you wondering.
What to wear and bring
- Whatever you are comfortable in. For reflexology you stay fully dressed.
- Nothing else. Towels and blankets are here.
- Come a few minutes early if it is your first visit, so we are not rushing the chat at the start.
Tell me beforehand if
- You are pregnant, or think you might be
- You have had a recent injury, surgery or a broken bone in the area
- You have a skin condition, an infection or an open cut on your feet
- You are being treated for anything where your doctor has said to check first
None of these automatically rule out a treatment. They just change how I work, and I would rather know at the start than halfway through.
Paying
[[NEEDS: which payment methods Krista takes, and whether people pay before or after]]
Changing or cancelling
Things come up. Call or text 902-350-0423 as soon as you know and we will find you another time. I would always rather hear from you than wonder.
Where to come
I work from a room at my home in Liverpool. You get the address and directions when you book, and there is a sign on the door with two footprints on it so you know you have the right one.
Questions people actually ask
The things nobody likes asking.
Do I have to take my clothes off?
For reflexology, no. Only your shoes and socks come off. Everything else stays on and you are covered with a blanket.
For massage it depends on the area we are working on. We talk about it first and you are covered the whole time apart from the part being worked on. Nothing happens that you have not agreed to.
Will it hurt?
It should not. Some points on the feet feel tender for a second under pressure, then ease. That is normal and it passes.
Sharp pain is not normal and it is not something to put up with. Tell me and I change what I am doing straight away. You will not offend me and you will not be spoiling it.
Do I have to talk?
No. We have a short chat at the start so I know what I am working with, and after that you can say nothing at all. Plenty of people do. Plenty of people fall asleep. It is genuinely not awkward for me.
How will I feel afterwards?
Most people feel loose and a bit sleepy. Some feel clear headed instead. Both are common.
Have some water, sit up slowly, and give yourself a few minutes before you drive. If you can avoid booking anything demanding straight after, do.
How often should I come?
As often as it is useful to you and no more. Some people come once because they fancied it. Some come every few weeks because it helps them wind down.
I do not sell courses of treatment and I will not push you to rebook at the end. If you want another one, book it.
Can I have a treatment if I am pregnant, or if I have a health condition?
Usually yes, but tell me first. Some things change how I work or which areas I leave alone, and a few are worth checking with your doctor before you book. That is a short conversation, not a refusal.
Either way, tell me when you book rather than when you arrive, so we have time to sort it out properly.
What if I need to cancel?
Things come up and I am not going to make a fuss about it. Just let me know as early as you can so I can offer the slot to someone else.
Call or text 902-350-0423 as soon as you know. Things come up and I would rather hear from you than not.
