Home / About

Hello, I am Krista.

I run Holistic Heelin’ on my own, here in Liverpool. That means the person who answers the phone is the person who does the treatment, every single time.

There is no reception desk, no rota of therapists and no chance of being handed to someone you have never met.

How this started

Why I do this work.

[[NEEDS: Krista's own account of how she came to reflexology. What she was doing before, and what made her train for it. Two or three paragraphs in her voice. This is the last big gap on the site and the one that would improve it most.]]

How I work

A few things I try to hold to, whoever is on the table.

  • You set the pressure. Firmer, lighter, stop. Say it whenever you want and I will not take it personally.
  • You do not have to talk. We have a short chat at the start so I know what I am working with. After that, silence is completely welcome.
  • No selling. I do not push courses of treatment and I will not ask you to rebook at the door. If you want to come back, you know where I am.
  • Nothing happens without you knowing. If I am going to move to a different area, I say so first.
  • On time, and the full time. Your hour is your hour. It does not get trimmed because the day ran late.

The room. One table, one rug, one person booked at a time.

Where I work

I work from a room at my home here in Liverpool, and I look after people across Queens County.

It is a quiet room with a treatment table, a window with the curtains half drawn, and a rug on the floor. There is a foot chart on one wall and my sign on the other. That is about it. No music you cannot escape, no reception area, no waiting your turn.

Working from home means one person is booked at a time. You will not pass anyone on the way in, and nobody is waiting on the other side of the door for you to finish.

There is a sign on the door with the two footprints on it, so you will know you have the right one. Come straight in.

If you are new to this

Not sure what you would be walking into?

There is a plain walkthrough of a whole session on the homepage, start to finish, written for people who have never had reflexology and are quietly unsure about it.

Book

Come and have an hour to yourself.

Book online whenever suits you, or call and I will find you a time. If you have a question first, ask it. Nobody has ever annoyed me by asking.
